Friday, We will celebrate Earth Day with a visit from several rain forest friends! During the school day, we will have an assembly. Then, Friday evening, our families are invited to come back to spend even more time deep in the rain forest. The cost for the evening is $5.00 per person. It is certain to be an awesome experience for our students!
Crossroads is an exciting place to be! After Spring Break, we will be busy! April 8th will be our first ever Movie Night! We are partnering with the Boy Scouts. Then on April 22nd, The Rainforest is coming!
Additionally, testing time is upon us. Our second grade students will be taking the Inview the first week of April. With our big goal to raise funds for Literacy and P.E., we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it more profitable, easier, and fun. Students will also experience an amazing character theme, Big World Recess! It’s a global fitness theme all about playing with character. Donations will go toward books for our school and equipment for the gym and to the entire 9-day experience. So please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support! The week before winter break will be a busy week for the entire Crossroads Community! In addition to teaching and learning, we have several events planned this week.
